Ahead of tonight’s crucial tie in the Greek Basketball League Finals Series, Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is the man under the microscope on the back of his splendid performance in the previous encounter between the two sides.
The 6 foot 8 inch player who can play as a Small Forward or Power Forward scored a game leading 28 points for Panathinaikos in a 103-74 win over Lavrio in Game 3 of the Finals Series.
Bentil added five rebounds and an assist in 20 minutes off the bench while attempting just one three point shot attempt; he missed the attempt. (Click highlighted text to watch highlights)
The former Providence College standout scored all eight free throw attempts and converted 10 of 12 field goal attempts to pace the game’s scoring chart.
He registered a pair of three point plays in the game with the first giving Panathinaikos a 21-15 lead in the first quarter. Game 4 tips off tonight at 17:00 GMT; Panathinaikos are the defending league champions.
