Sekondi native Bentil scored one of a trio of three point shot attempts and converted a pair of free throw attempts but missed two field goal attempts in the game.

Bentil is attempting to win his second league title in a row with Panathinaikos and is a free agent once this season comes to an end; he signed a two year deal to join the club from Peristeri.

Game 2 is on Saturday, June 5 and a win gets Panathinaikos closer to winning the title and securing a double for the season; last month, the team lifted the Greek Cup.
