Basketballghana.com gathers Ghanaian born Canadian Basketball Coach Hope Agbolosoo is leading the charge to renovate basketball courts in Kumasi.
Agbolosso is doing so through his Project Hope initiative in Senior High Schools located in and close to Ghana’s Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.
Through his initiative, basketball courts of Osei Tutu Senior High School and Prempeh College have been renovated with the renovation taking the form of repainting and replacing old, worn out basketball nets.
Prempeh College regularly competes at the Sprite Ball Championship which is Ghana’s biggest basketball competition at the Senior High School level. The competition is on hold due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
Ghana’s leading Basketball portal understands similar acts of benevolence have been shown by Agbolosoo to the Chiefs Basketball Academy.
Aside being a Coach, Agbolosoo is an Entrepreneur and fitness trainer and in the words of Chiefs Academy Coach Benjamin Sarpong, “is ready to do whatever to keep basketball in Ghana and Africa going the right way as far as development of talent is concerned.”
