Indiana Pacers and Ghana Center Amida Brimah’s campaign in the 2020-2021 season has come to an end after losing to Washington Wizards earlier today. (Click highlighted text to watch video)
Wizards beat Pacers 142-115 in the Play In Tournament that had Wizards progress to the NBA Playoffs via the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
The loss ends Brimah’s debut season in the NBA after signing to play for Indiana a month ago via a two way contract. Earlier this season, the 6 foot 10 inch Center played for Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Gatorade League.
In his final appearance of the season, Brimah came off the bench and delivered three points, two rebounds and a blocked shot in five minutes. (Click highlighted text to watch video)
The former University of Connecticut and Partizan Belgrade defender was productive in his limited time on the court as a replacement for Myles Turner whose season was cut short due to a foot injury.
In five regular season games, he averaged 2.6 points, 1.0 blocks and 1.6 rebounds in 5.8 minutes.
