History could be made in a few hours when Washington Wizards take on Indiana Pacers in the NBA Play In Tournament at 12:00 AM tomorrow.

The Pacers could end up clinching a playoff spot via the Play In Tournament for the first time in its storied history and a win over Washington means Amida Brimah becomes the first ever Ghana born player to get to the NBA playoffs.

10th seed Pacers beat ninth seed Charlotte Hornets 144-117 on Tuesday, May 18 while eighth seed Wizards lost to seventh seed Boston Celtics. Boston has progressed to the playoffs. Amida played two minutes in the contest in a cameo appearance.

After setting several records in his homeland thanks to signing a two way contract with Indiana last month and having a good start to life in the NBA, Brimah could add to that should his team progress to the Playoffs.

6 foot 10 Brimah is an athletic rim protector who is a renowned shot blocker.
