Basketballghana.com can report Ghanaian-Italian International Shooting Guard/Small Forward Awudu Abass has scored registered 12 points in the Regular Season finale for Virtus Bologna.

Bologna lost 83-91 to Trento in the final round of Regular Season games of the 2020-2021 Italian Serie A played ahead of the commencement of the playoffs later this week.

In his first season with Bologna, Abass has found it difficult playing extensive minutes after transferring from Germani Brescia prior to the start of the campaign.

However, the 28 year old got a rare start against Trento and filled the stat sheet delivering 12 points, six rebounds, a steal and a block in 27 minutes.

Two of his rebound tally came on the offensive side and converted three of four field goal shot attempts; he scored two of six three point shot attempts.

Veteran Guard and Abass’ national teammate at the 2018 Basketball World Cup Marco Belinelli led all players with 22 points. Abass was born to a Ghanaian father in Italy.

Third seed Bologna plays sixth seed Treviso in the first round of the playoffs on Thursday, May 13.
