Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghana Center Amida Brimah’s deal with NBA side Indiana Pacers runs beyond this season with the 2021-2022 season also covered.
Details emerged after the 6 foot 10 inch defender recently signed a two way deal with Indiana after playing the earlier portion of the season with Pacers affiliate side in the NBA Gatorade League, Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
This means Brimah has already picked up one of a pair of two way contracts available to teams for next season that would see him play for Fort Wayne and Indiana in the next campaign.
Brimah has been inactive in two of Indiana’s past three games including a win over Atlanta Hawks recorded earlier this morning. Pacers 2019 Draft pick Goga Bitadze has returned from injury to take up the backup role behind Domantas Sabonis.
Amida is the second Ghana born player to play in the NBA.
