Basketballghana.com can report Panathinaikos Basketball Club will compete in the 2020-2021 season Greek Basketball Cup Final game after winning its semifinal matchup.
Panathinaikos beat Lavrio 108-71 in the semifinal to set up a final game against Promitheas on Sunday, May 9 at 17:00 GMT with Ghana Forward Ben Bentil expected to play a lead role.
The 6 foot 8 Small Forward/Power Forward dazzled in the semifinal contest registering 19 points in 15 minutes to lead the Athens club. Guard Howard Sant Roos had an 18 points, 12 assists double double in the win.
Bentil came off the bench to lead Panathinaikos in scoring while adding three bounds and two assists as he continues his scoring streak; he recently bagged 14 points in 15 minutes.
The former Dallas Mavericks player was perfect from the field as he converted all six two point shot attempts and converted his sole three point shot attempt. He scored four of seven free throw shots.
Panathinaikos could end the end season with two titles after making the playoffs as the top seed.
