Ghana Center Amida Brimah hasn’t been active in recent games for Indiana Pacers after an encouraging run of games in the aftermath of signing a two way contract with the NBA team.
Brimah was inactive for the Pacers in a loss to Washingto Wizards earlier this week and played just three minutes in a 93-104 Pacers loss to Sacramento Kings earlier today.
The 6 foot 10 inch defender recorded a rebound in his limited time on the court off the bench; the loss increases pressure on under first year Head Coach Nate Bjorkgren.
Amida had a decent run of games where he cracked the double digit mark in minutes played and had season highs in points and rebounds. He also registered his first ever assist in the NBA with all coming in the contest against Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Pacers are in action in the wee hours of Friday, May 7 at 12:00 AM against the surging Atlanta Hawks who have won three games on the bounce.
