Prior to Domantas Sabonis’ return from an injury layoff, Ghana Center Amida Brimah was the tallest player on NBA franchise Indiana Pacers roster.
Brimah who is 6 foot 10inches was the tallest player on the team with the next tallest players (JaKarr Sampson and Oshae Brissett) measuring 6 foot 7 inches.
This was primarily due to a slew of injuries that hit the Pacers hard in recent weeks in the lead up to Brimah signing a two way contract to add size to the team’s lineup.
Sabonis, Myles Turner and Goga Bitadze all measure 6 foot 11 inches but missed time due to varied injuries. Sabonis returned to play in Indiana’s 152-95 win over Oklahoma City Thunder and registered a 26 points, 19 rebounds and 14 assists triple double.
Brimah featured in the game played earlier today at the Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma and registered seven points, four rebounds, an assist and two blocks in 12 minutes off the bench.
Amida played earlier this season for Pacers affiliate side in the Gatorade League-Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
