Ghana Center Amida Brimah was in fine form again for Indiana Pacers in his latest outing in the NBA after recently signing a two way contract with the Nate Bjorkgren led team.
Brimah played 12 minutes off the bench in Indiana’s 152-95 win over the rebuilding Oklahoma City Thunder earlier today at the Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma. (Click highlighted text to watch video-Brimah highlight on 2:50 minute mark)
Starting Center Domantas Sabonis returned from injury to register 26 points, 19 rebounds and 14 assists in 30 minutes in the win. Victory keeps Pacers in the hunt for a playoff spot.
Playing his fourth ever game in the NBA, 6 foot 10 inch defender Brimah registered seven points, four rebounds, an assist and two blocks in his extended cameo. Prior to this contest, the highest minutes the former University of Connecticut player had played was nine minutes.
Barring a cameo appearance against Brooklyn Nets, Brimah has registered at least a block in all games he has played in the league.
The team plays Washington Wizards next on Monday, May 3 at 23:00 GMT.
