Ghana Center Amida Brimah was in action earlier today with the Indiana Pacers against Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma.
Pacers thrashed OKC 152-95 and Brimah registered seven points, four rebounds, an assist and two blocks in 12 minutes off the bench.
Playing in just his fourth game in the NBA, Amida registered season highs across all statistical categories barring blocks. He registered two blocks against Portland TrailBlazers in the past week.
The 6 foot 10 inch defender converted three of five field goal attempts including an alley oop dunk and scored his only free throw attempt in the game. (Click highlighted text to watch video; Brimah dunk on 2:50 minute mark)
Three of his rebounds came on the defensive side and the assist he registered was his first in the NBA; however, his efficiency dropped after turning the ball over three times.
Domantas Sabonis returned from injury to register a 26 points, 19 rebounds, 14 assists triple double in the win. Brimah is expected to play against Washington Wizards on Monday, May 3 at 23:00 GMT in Washington.
