Ghana Center Amida Brimah has commended the playing unit of the Indiana Pacers tagging the unit as a “great group” after recently joining them following his two way contract signing exactly a week ago.

He made this remark in an interview with JoyFM after playing his second ever game in the NBA; he registered six points, three rebounds and two blocks in just nine minutes off the bench in a loss to Portland TrailBlazers.

Brimah registered a block in his debut NBA game against Orlando Magic and is the second ever Ghana born player to play in the NBA. Panathinaikos Basketball Club Forward Ben Bentil was the first to do so during his brief stint with Dallas Mavericks.

“Its been good…this group is a great group they are very friendly” he said in response to a question on treatment from his new teammates and added players on the team saying to him “we need you”.

6 foot 10 inch Brimah comes in at a time Indiana Pacers is battling with a slew of injuries to three players at the Center/ Power Forward positions.
