Basketballghana.com can confirm Joyce Boatey Agyei has retained her role as Head Coach of Ghana’s National Under 15 Girls Football Team.
The versatile Coach was instrumental in Kumasi Girls Senior High School’s back to back gold medal campaigns at the Sprite Ball Championship; Coach Agyei served as Head of Sports for the High School
Sprite Ball is Ghana’s biggest High School Basketball Championship with Kumasi Girls winning the 2018 and 2019 editions thanks to wins over Accra Wesley Girls High School and Mfantseman Girls Senior High School respectively in the finals.
The retention was announced earlier today by the Ghana Football Association and is expected to last at least a year with Coach Agyei in charge of grooming the next wave of football stars.
She has served her role as Head Coach of the National Under 15 side since her appointment in 2019 and doubles as Head Coach of Women’s Football League outfit Supreme Ladies.
Coach Agyei has a CAF Licence A certificate and FIFA Grassroots Coaching Certificate.
