Ghana Basketball star Ben Bentil has rekindled his love for his native Sekondi-Takoradi jamming to celebrated Ghanaian Musician Kofi Kinaata who hails from the city.
The Panathinaikos Basketball Club Small Forward/ Power Forward jammed to Kinaata’s latest hit song “Thy Grace” in a Tweet posted by the Rapper/Singer. (Click highlighted text to view video)
Kinaata is a multiple award winner who has gained thousands of followers following the string of thought provoking songs with catchy lyrics like “Behind The Scenes” and “Su Su Ka”.
Bentil on the other hand is having a fine season with the Athens based club after helping the team secured the top seed ahead of the playoffs.
He scored 15 points in the win that sealed top spot for the reigning league champions; Bentil is averaging 8.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 16 minutes across 18 games this season.
Bentil made history in 2017 when he became the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA after featuring in three games for Dallas Mavericks.
