In the aftermath of the Ghana Basketball Conference, Basketballghana.com can report a handful of positive responses and likely actions have emerged in the aftermath of the event.

The Conference took place virtually on ZOOM on April 14 with prominent personalities participating in the Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) and RITE Sports event. Ghana’s Minister of Youth and Sports spoke at the Conference as did GBBA President David Addo-Ashong.

American based basketball fan David Morrison detailed his difficulty shipping basketballs to teams in Ghana to aid development of the sport during the Conference.

However, another participant Dr. Eric Opoku-Antwi who doubles as Coach of Spintex Knights Basketball Club) offered to foot the bill of the shipping cost.
