Basketballghana.com can confirm Panathinaikos has secured top seeding in the 2020-2021 Greek Basketball League Regular Season.
This was confirmed following Panathinaikos heavy 100-66 win over Iraklis that keeps Panathinaikos atop the league standings with 18 wins and two losses ahead of the playoffs. Iraklis remains bottom with seven wins and 14 losses.
Bentil played 19 minutes off the bench and registered 15 points, four rebounds, an assist and a steal in the big win; he was one of three Panathinaikos players to score in double figures with former New York Knicks Forward Mario Hezonja leading the way with 17 points.
Former Dallas Mavericks player Bentil had an impressive shooting night as he scored four of five two point range attempts and converted at the same rate from the free throw line. He scored one of two shots from three point range.
Bentil’s time at Panathinaikos is winding down as he approaches the end of a two year deal he signed after leaving Peristeri.
