Basketballghana.com can confirm Basketball Africa League (BAL) Vice President and Head of Operations John Manyo-Plange will speak at the Ghana Basketball Conference.

The Conference comes off on Wednesday, April 14 via online Conferencing platform ZOOM under the theme, “Reviewing The Past, Planning The Future”.

The veteran administrator is expected to address matters on “Building a basketball culture in Ghana and ways to accomplish it” at the Conference.

He joins former NBA player and Scout Pops Mensah-Bonsu and Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) President David Addo-Ashong as high profile speakers at the event that aims to provide solutions to issues preventing Ghana from excelling in basketball especially at the international stage.

Prior to his appointment as BAL Head of Operations and Vice President, Manyo-Plange worked extensively with the NBA including its Africa Office in South Africa.

After several delays due to COVID 19, the inaugural edition of the BAL tips off on May 16 and is due to end on May 30 at the Kigali Arena in Rwanda.
