The Documentary which premiered earlier this year focuses on the activities of North Carolina Central University’s Men’s Basketball Team. The piece airs on American sports channel ESPN with Phoenix Suns Guard Chris Paul and veteran Broadcaster Stephen A. Smith as Executive Producers.

In the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement in the United States of America, improving Historically Black Colleges and Universities like North Carolina Central have been talked about extensively.

Ayetey is set to graduate later this year with a degree in Behavioural and Social Sciences and after multiple attempts to get his mother to see him play failed, the pair was reunited recently as Ayetey prepares to graduate.

The 6 foot 6 inch Forward hadn’t seen Patience Baaba Ayetey for nine years since Koby moved to the US at age 15. He played for Baltimore City Community College for two years before moving to North Carolina Central.

 He averaged 2.4 points and 1.9 rebounds in 11.6 minutes across just nine games.
