Basketballghana.com can report defending Greek Basketball League Champions Panathinaikos has failed to clinch a second win in a row in the EuroLeague.

Panathinaikos lost 78-93 to Lithuanian side Zalgiris Kaunas in a regular season game of the 2020-2021 season in Europe’s top tier competition.

Ghana Forward Ben Bentil scored in double figures in back to back games as he registered 13 points, an assist and a rebound in 20 minutes off the bench.

Bentil was one of only two Panathinaikos players to score in double digits as Nemanja Nedovic led the Greek side with 17 points, two rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Former Dallas Mavericks player Bentil had an excellent shooting night as he scored all fur attempts from the free throw line and scored all three point shot attempts (3) in the game.

He just missed out on completing a perfect night by missing his sole two point shot attempt while committing a turnover. Panathinaikos slip to 16th on the 18 team league standings; Kaunas ranks 11th.
