Ghana-Italian International Guard David Cournooh was in impressive form for his side Vanoli Cremona but that didn’t translate into a win as Cremona lost 85-92 to Cantu.
The loss occurred in the latest round of games played in the Italian Serie A this past weekend; Cremona lost to the team with the worst record in the league prior to the contest.
Veteran Guard Cournooh started the game and delivered 15 points, two steals, an assist and two rebounds in 29 minutes of action.
He was one of four starters to score in double digits with Daulton Hommes leading the way 19 points and four rebounds in 38 minutes.
Cournooh’s scoring efficiency was solid as he converted three of five shots from two point range, two of four shots from three point range and scored all three attempts from the free throw line respectively.
Cremona remains in 10th place in the 15 team league standings while Cantu moves up a place to 14th after the win.
