Ghana Center Amida Brimah has delivered another game leading shot blocking display in the latest outing for Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the 2021 NBA Gatorade League (G League).
Fort Wayne lost its last but one game of the regular season to Canton Charge via a 94-99 result with Brimah two points shy of delivering a double-double.
The 6 foot 10 inch defender registered eight points, 13 rebounds, a steal and five blocks as a starter in 28 minutes; after battling foul trouble in the previous game where he played just 12 minutes, Brimah stayed away from trouble and recorded just one in the contest.
This is the third time Amida has made five blocks in a game in the shortened campaign taking place in a bubble at the World Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Another positive aspect of Brimah’s play is his production in offensive rebounds; he grabbed five in the loss to Canton Charge. Only teammate Oshae Brissett had more rebounds (16) in the game than Amida.
