Basketballghana.com can confirm winner of the 2020 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship Radford University College has presented items to St. Peter’s Mission Senior High School Basketball Team.

The items presented included hand sanitizers, tissue paper, liquid soap, nose masks, basketballs and assorted items from Ghana’s leading telecommunication network MTN.

The gesture is in line with efforts to fight the corona virus pandemic in Ghana; the West African nation commenced mass vaccination of its population earlier today.

Members of Radford’s Basketball team including players, Head Coach Albert Ato Sam and Sports Coordinator Emmanuel Ayittah were present for the brief event.

Chief Executive Officer of Rite Sports Limited-UPAC organizers-joined Radford’s contingent that was received by St. Peter’s Headmaster and Sports Head Dennis Danso and Sylvester Ansah respectively.

St. Peter’s students were urged by the head personalities to balance sports and academics and observe all COVID 19 protocols on and off campus.

Radford University College won the 2020 UPAC

Radford University won its first ever UPAC title in December 2020 after beating Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology 58-46 in the final game.
