Ghana Center starred in Fort Wayne Mad Ants second win in a row in the ongoing NBA Gatorade League (G League) inside the World Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The 6 foot 10 inch defender blocked Alize Johnson’s layup in the final seconds of the game that led to deciding sequence that sealed a 122-117 double overtime over Raptors 905.
Brimah’s block led to a shot violation call on Raptors and Fort Wayne Guard Brian Bowen II converted one of two free throws, caught the ensuing rebound and scored both free throws after getting fouled battling for the rebound.
This marks another encouraging performance from Brimah who has played just three of eight games for Fort Wayne due to a late arrival to the bubble.
He has impressed scoring double figures in two of those games; he registered 12 points, eight rebounds, five blocks and an assist in 30 minutes as a starter.
In his post game conference, Mad Ants Coach Tom Hankins stated, “That’s why we hired him. It was impressive”. Brimah has 12 blocks in three games.
