Ghana Forward Reggie Agbeko has produced a solid display for his side Ventero Villarobledo in the latest round of games in the Spanish lower division.
In a 61-79 loss to Menorca, Agbeko registered 12 points, 10 rebounds and an assist in 28 minutes as a starter; this is Agbeko’s debut season at Ventero after playing for Albacete in last season’s campaign.
The former St. Louis University product converted six of 11 shots in the contest with all six converted shots coming from two point range. He did miss a pair of three point shots and a pair of free throws.
The low scoring tie had Agbeko and Joaquin Portugues as the only Ventero players to score in double figures while Agbeko’s 10 rebound output led all players in the game.
Losing to Menorca means Villarobledo has just five wins to its credit and eight losses this season and ranks 10th on the 14 team East LEB Silver standings.
After graduating from St. Louis, Agbeko played in Denmark before moving to Spain.
