Ghanaian-Italian International Shooting Guard/Small Forward Awudu Abass featured in Virtus Bologna’s latest win in the 2020-2021 Italian Serie A Regular Season campaign.

Abass has had an up and down season in his first run out with Virtus after transferring from Germani Brescia prior to the season. He missed a handful of games due to COVID 19 isolation protocols.

He is averaging 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds this season as he adjusts to his new environment; Bologna also signed veteran Italian Shooting Guard Marco Belinelli further diminishing the playing time of Abass.

The win gives Virtus 12 wins and six losses for the season and a fourth place in the league. With Abass on the bench in the first quarter, veteran Point Guard Milos Teodosic stole the headlines with an outrageous layup.

The soon to be 34 year old wrapped the ball round a defender and laid the ball in to give Bologna a 21-10 lead.
