Basketballghana.com can report Panathinaikos Basketball Club has had its winning run ended by Real Madrid in the EuroLeague. The team lost 66-76 to the Spanish giant.
Ghana Forward Ben Bentil was in action for Panathinaikos and played 18 minutes in the loss off the bench; he registered two points, seven rebounds and an assist.
The 6 foot 8 inch player who praised recently recruited Head Coach Oded Kattash attempted only three shots in the game converting on a solo effort.
Prior to meeting Real, Panathinaikos had beaten Russian side Khimki in Europe and Aris in the Greek Super League with Bentil playing in both games.
2016 NBA Draftee Bentil is expected to compete later tonight as Panathinaikos battles Spanish side Valencia in the latest round of the EuroLeague.
Panathinaikos leads the Greek League with 10 wins in 11 games but has largely struggled in the EuroLeague this season recording seven wins and 14 losses so far.
