Basketballghana.com can confirm Fort Wayne Mad Ants will play out its season opening game in the NBA Gatorade League (G League) on February 10.
Ghana Center Amida Brimah is on Fort Wayne’s roster and is in line to compete for the Mad Ants in the 2020-2021 season due to be played in a bubble inside Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
This is set to be Brimah’s third year in the G League after spending two seasons at Austin Spurs; he is the second Ghana born player to be named on Fort Wayne’s roster after Ben Bentil spent part of the 2016-2017 season with the team.
Fort Wayne takes on Westchester Knicks in the opening game of its season and is expected to end the regular season with a tie against Greensboro Swarm on March 5 before a possible playoff run.
Brimah’s Fort Wayne plays Austin Spurs on February 15; the 6 foot 10 inch player won the G League in his first year at Austin.
