Basketballghana.com can report Ghanaian Center Nathan Mensah has delivered another stat sheet filling production for San Diego State University Men’s Basketball Team.
San Diego clinched a 65-60 win over University of Nevada in a US Men’s College Basketball 2020-2021 Regular Season matchup earlier today.
Mensah delivered 16 points, seven rebounds, an assist, a steal and two blocks as the starting Center in 26 minutes; on the down dies, he committed two turnovers and four fouls.
He was one of three San Diego players to score in double digits in the win; the victory is San Diego’s ninth in 11 games this season.
The third year player was efficient in his production as he converted four of seven shots from two point range and scored eight of 10 free throws.
In 10 games this season, the 6 foot 10 inch Mensah is averaging 10.2 points, 2.1 blocks and 7.5 rebounds in 22.8 minutes per game. The ongoing season is his first after recovering from a respiratory illness last season that forced him to play just 13 games.
