Basketballghana.com can confirm the Skills Challenge Contest will take place on Wednesday, December 30 at the Tema Community 4 Basketball Court.
The Skills Challenge headlines the second edition of the Africa Basketball Festival in the aftermath of an All Star Game between Accra and Tema headlining the 2019 edition.
10 Teams are scheduled to participate in the event and challenge for the title; events based on various facets of basketball including three point shooting and dribbling past obstacles will test players agility and ability.
Each team can register up to five players to compete in the respective contests to end what has been a turbulent year for the sport due to COVID 19.
This year’s event will take place on the final day of the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship which commences a day earlier at the same venue.
The events are organized by RITE Sports and are the last big basketball competitions of the year.
