Basketballghana.com can report a pair of Ghanaians who represent other countries internationally were in action in the EuroCup regular season matchup between Virtus Bologna and Antwerp Giants.
Ghanaian-Italian Small Forward/Shooting Guard Awudu Abass was in impressive form for Bologna as his side clinched a 92-73 win over Antwerp.
Abass filled the statistical sheet with an all round performance in the win by registering 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, four steals and a block in 25minutes as the starting Small Forward.
This performance comes on the back of run of average performances from Abass who missed a handful of games as he had to isolate due to Coronavirus related issues.
He was one of four Bologna players to score in double figures in the contest with Amar Alibegovic’s 16 points leading the way.
Ghanaian-Belgian International Point Guard Dennis Donkor competed for Antwerp and registered five points, a rebound and two assists in 22:30 minutes off the bench.
Bologna leads Group C with nine wins in nine games and has booked its place in the next round; Antwerp has just a win this season in 10 games.
