Basketballghana.com understands Ghana’s Amida Brimah is one of 20 players in Indiana Pacers Training Camp for preseason training; this is Brimah’s second stint with Indiana in preseason.
The Pacers open its preseason schedule against Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, December 12 at 12:00 AM; the two teams face off again in the next game on the team’s timeline before rounding off its preseason activities with a game against Philadelphia Sixers on Friday, December 18.
6 foot 10 Center Brimah, is vying for a spot in Pacers 15 man roster for the 2020-2021 season after missing out on a spot last season.
The former University of Connecticut player played with Indiana during the team’s trip to India for 2019-2020’s preseason round of games.
However, he was assigned to Pacers Gatorade League (G-League) affiliate side Fort Wayne Mad Ants before he tore his ACL and ending his season.
He has recovered fully from the injury and is set to battle for a spot in the frontcourt.
