Basketballghana.com gathers Ghanaian born France international player Yakuba Ouattara has returned to his club side Coosur Real Betis after starring for France in the last round of qualifiers for Euro 2022.
The 28 year old Shooting Guard was in inspired form as he led France to record an 86-74 win over Germany; he helped France beat Great Britain in the previous qualifier.
Ouattara’s 24 point outing was needed to put away a solid German side with the Tepa born player adding three rebounds and a steal to his scoring tally in 24 minutes of action.
The former AS Monaco player is likely to play for Betis on Sunday, December in a league game against MoraBanc Andorra at 11:00 GMT.
Betis has two wins and nine losses this season with Ouattara missing four games through injury; the team has made a coaching change to addressing its poor form thus far.
The team lies 17th in the 19 team Endesa standings in Ouattara’s debut season.
