After a major health scare last season, Ghana Center Nathan Mensah has returned to feature for San Diego State University Men’s Basketball Team.
Three games into the regular season of the 2020-2021 campaign, the third year player has been present in all fixtures The Aztecs have played out.
His latest outing was in San Diego’s 83-41 win over St. Katherine University with the 6 foot 11 inch defender tallying nine points, seven rebounds and a block in 18 minutes.
He started at Center and was quite efficient with his production as he converted three of six attempts from two point range and scored three of four free throw attempts in the contest.
Prior to beating St. Katherine on Friday, December 4, Mensah was involved in wins over University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) and UC-Irvince.
He is in line to play against Pepperdine University on Sunday, December 6 at 21:30 GMT. Mensah encountered a respiratory issue that forced him to play just 13 games last season.
