Basketballghana.com can confirm Greek side Panathinaikos BC will engage Bayern Munich in a EuroLeague Regular Season matchup tonight.
The game tips off at 19:00 GMT in Athens, Greece with Ghana’s Ben Bentil in line to compete for Panathinaikos; the homes side is in need of a win after losing six out of eight games played thus far in 2020-2021 season.
Panathinaikos lost its immediate past game 80-91 to Spanish side Valencia with Bentil not featuring in the contest. However, the 6 foot 8 inch Forward is coming off one of his better outing this season and is likely to see some action tonight.
The former Dallas Mavericks player registered 12 points, three rebounds and a steal in 21 minutes off the bench in a 90-67 win over Kolossos in the Greek League this past weekend.
Panathinaikos ranks 16th on the 18 team EuroLeague standings and needs to rack up wins to improve its standing to progress to the next phase of the continent’s premier competition.
Bentil has averaged three points and 1.7 rebounds in 7:49 minutes across six games.
