Tema Community 4 Youngings have stunned Tema Community 4 Oldies in the final game of the Game On Basketball Tournament.
The younger C4 side clinched a 33-30 win over their older contemporaries in a heated game played out at the home ground of the finalists.
Four teams including the finalists participated in the single elimination format tourney that also had Sakumono Youngings and Sakumono Oldies compete.
Game On Tournament is a partnership between the Tema Basketball League (TBL) and Ground Music Group headlined by BET Award Nominee Tema based Rapper Kwesi Arthur.
Prior to clinching the close win in the final game, C4 Youngings beat Sakumono Youngings 42-29 after holding a 22-10 first half lead in the contest.
C4 Oldies had a tougher path to the final game as the completed a couple three point plays to score a 26-16 first half lead en route to a 46-32 win.
After both teams traded game leads C4 Oldies went on an 8-2 run to take a 24-21 lead early in the third quarter but big shots from deep from Youngings Point Guard Treasure Botchwey was enough to separate the two sides.
