Central Regional Sports and Physical Education Coordinator Seth Ayensu has entreated association and groups of former Senior High School students to emulate Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA) and help funs sports projects at their Alma Mater.
He said this in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com in the aftermath of the official commissioning of a new basketball facility at Mfantsipim School earlier on this weekend,
This coincides with the school’s 144th Year Anniversary celebrations and the 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000 Year Groups funded the construction of the facility.
Speaking to Ghana’s biggest basketball portal, Ayensu was impressed with the facility and went on to urge Associations of such ilk to do same in their respective schools stating:
“This is a wonderful facility and we want other old students from other schools to emulate this example and give us these facilities even if it is not in basketball, they can do it in other disciplines”.
Mfantsipim is the most successful team in the Sprite Ball Championship.
