Chief Executive Officer of RITE Sports Limited Yaw Sakyi Afari has lavished praise on Brooklyn Nets Point Guard Kyrie Irving for honouring his promise to donate sneakers to the winning teams of the 2019-2020 Sprite Ball Championship.
The Nike’s Kyrie Five sneakers are to be given out to each member (12 players per team) of Mfantsipim School and Shama Senior High School’s Basketball Teams for emerging as winners of the high profile competition.
In an interview privy to Basketballghana.com, the long tenured Sports Administrator was grateful about the kind gesture from the 2016 NBA Champion.
“On behalf of my team at RITE Sports we would like to say a big thank you to NBA superstar Kyrie Irving for donating these pairs of sneakers to the winners of Sprite Ball 2019-2020. Indeed, you promised and you have delivered” Afari said.
Ghana’s leading basketball portal understands Irving promised to reward the Championship winners with high end sneakers from his top selling footwear collection.
The Sprite Ball Championship is Ghana’s biggest High School Basketball competition.
