The Moutainwest Conference is set to have a 20 game schedule which is 12 games short of the number of fixtures in the 2019-2020 season. San Diego won 30 of 32 regular season in 2019-2020.

The move is part of wide ranging moves to deal with the COVID 19 pandemic in the United States of America; the pandemic has caused the death of over 230,000 people in the country.

The upcoming season is expected to run from December this year to the latter part of February in 2021 with a changed schedule of games expected to be rolled out in the coming weeks.

The upcoming season is Mensah’s third in the US Men’s College Basketball top tier division; he is a highly touted 6 foot 11 inch athletic defensive prospect.
