Basketballghana.com can report a maximum capacity crowd of 1000 people would be allowed to watch homes games of James Madison University Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams in the 2020-2021 season.
Ghana Center Joel Mensah is the projected starter for James Madison in the upcoming season after transferring from San Diego State University after the immediate past season.
Mensah is preparing to play his debut campaign with his new team but would do so before a reduced crowd at the Atlantic Union Bank Center which was recently opened after several years of development.
The move comes as part of sweeping changes effected by the State of Virginia’s response to the COVID 19 pandemic that has infected over three million people in the United States of America.
6 foot 11 inch Mensah, transferred to The Dukes after having limited minutes of play during his two year tenure with The Aztecs. He is in line to play big minutes as the go-to rim protector for James Madison.
