Basketballghana.com can report Ghanaian Forward Reggie Agbeko was in action for Ventero Villarobledo in the Spanish lower division this past weekend.
Agbeko started the game and played 18 minutes in the contest that ended in a 61-86 loss to C.B. Prat; the loss is Ventero second of the season in as many games. For Prat, it was the team’s fifth in five games.
Former Cape Coast resident Agbeko registered four points and four rebounds in the loss that had Senegal player Elhadji Dieng be the only Ventero player to score in double digits (11 points).
6 foot 7 inch Agbeko converted two of four free throw attempts and converted the only attempt from two point range; he however did not convert any of the two point shots he attempted.
In his debut season with the team, Agbeko is averaging seven points and six rebounds after transferring from the Danish League. He played for Albacete last season.
Agbeko played at Saint Louis University in the United States of America after relocating from Ghana and graduated in 2017.
