Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghana Forward Ben Bentil was absent for Panathinaikos game in the EuroLeague Tournament against CSKA Moscow.
The Ghanaian international player had featured in all four games for Panathinaikos in the continental competition prior to the matchup against the Russian side earlier in the week.
Panathinaikos lost 83-89 to Moscow at home in Athens; it is the third loss for the team in the 2020-2021 season with an outstanding game against Zenit yet to be cleared.
Nemanja Nedovic again top scored for Panathinaikos by scoring 19 points in the loss on the back of converting four of five three point shot attempts.
In four games, Bentil has averaged 3.5 points and two rebounds in 8:35 minutes with all appearances coming off the bench; reasons behind his omission are yet to be officially communicated.
It is his second season at Panathinaikos and the 6 foot 8 inch Sekondi native could end up featuring tonight in a league game against PAOK at 17:30 GMT.
The quick turnaround in games could be the reason behind his omission in the EuroLeague.
