Basketballghana.com can confirm North Carolina State University Men’s Basketball Team will play its opening game of the season on November 25. Ghana’s Ebenezer Dowuona is on the roster.

The game forms part of the team’s Mako Wolfpack Medical Invitational Tournament run of games ahead of the Men’s College basketball 2020-2021 season at a yet to be determined date due to complications from the Corona Virus pandemic.

However, the tournament which serves as preseason tune up games, is set to go ahead and run from November 25 to November 27.

North Carolina is set to compete against Charleston Southern University, Eastern Kentucky University and North Florida University in the tournament.

Dowuona is one of five new players on North Carolina’s roster after graduating from New Heritage High School in Georgia. He is listed at 6 foot 11 inches and plays the Center position.

Prior to joining North Carolina, Dowuona was ranked as the 20th best Center by ESPN and was a four star recruit from Heritage. He is expected to play off the bench in his freshman year.
