Basketballghana.com can confirm Panathinaikos Basketball Club Players including Ghana’s Ben Bentil have trained individually in preparation for this weekend’s round of games in the EuroLeague.

Panathinaikos is due to play Russian side CSKA Moscow on Friday. November 6 at Olympic Indoor Hall in Athens; the fixture is the Greek side’s fifth in this year’s competition.

It comes after Panathinaikos game against another Russian side (Zenit) was postponed to a yet to be determined date after a COVID 19 positive case was reported in the team from Greece’s camp.

Players have trained individually with an assigned Coach thus this week in line with COVID 19 protocols on social distancing as infections begin to climb fast in Europe in a second wave of infections similar to the first wave witnessed earlier this year.

Panathinaikos has won two of the four games played and Bentil has competed in all four games and has averaged 3.5 points and two rebounds in eight minutes of action off the bench. This is his second season competing Europe’s top tier tournament.
