Dichemso Chiefs Basketball Academy Coach and Founder Benjamin Sarpong has stated his aim to get at least 100 individuals into High Schools and Universities or Colleges.

He said this in an interview with Hood2Hood Basketball with the Academy competing in the recently held StreetBall At The Mall Tournament held in Kumasi in October.

“In 2012 I started the Academy at Kings College…we want to get 100 kids every year to get to High Schools and Colleges all over the world” he said.

Several players from the Academy have gone on to star for several schools in multiple competitions in Ghana including the Sprite Ball Championship and Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Championship.

Former Academy product Kofi Agyei earlier this year gained admission to Ateneo De Manilla University in the Philippines after playing for Nungua Coldstore in the Tema Basketball League.
