Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian Center Joel Mensah joined his James Madison University Men’s Basketball Teammates at practice at the team’s brand new arena.
The brand new Atlantic Union Bank Center was recently opened after several months went into putting the edifice up; James Madison University’s Women’s Basketball Team had a first look at the facility first.
In a video posted on the team’s Twitter page, several members of the Men’s Team went through training sessions as preparations continue for the upcoming season.
Due to the corona virus pandemic, the 2020-2021 season start date had to be moved; James Madison is scheduled to play Lancaster Bible University on November 25.
21 year old Mensah is gearing up for first season with the team after transferring from San Diego State University; he played two seasons before transferring.
He was captured in the video of the first training session working on his game in the post as he is expected to be the starting Center for the Dukes.
