Basketballghana.com can report Panathinaikos Basketball Club is set to return to EuroLeague action this weekend after its previous matchup was postponed.
The Greek Champions were scheduled to play Russian side Zenit on Thursday, October 27 but a member of Panathinaikos tested positive for COVID 19 and the game had to be postponed to a yet to be determined date.
However, the club of Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is in line to play another Russian side CSKA Moscow in the upcoming round of games. The game tips off at the Nikos Galis Olympic Hall in Athens on Friday, November 6.
That comes prior to a Greek Basketball Cup quarterfinal game against Peristeri BC on Sunday, November 8; Bentil played for Peristeri before joining Panathinaikos in the 2019-2020 season.
Panathinaikos has played four of six games in the EuroLeague thus far with two wins to show for; Bentil has played in all four games and has averaged 3.5 points and two rebounds in 8:33 minutes.
