Basketballghana.com can report veteran American born Ghanaian Guard Alhaji Mohammed has turned 39 years old with the player on the books of Tunisian Giant US Monastir.

Mohammed signed with Monastir earlier this to play in the inaugural edition of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) as one of two players with ties to the African continent allowed for each of the 12 teams set to compete in the tournament.

The former University of Louisville player is well travelled after playing for teams in Europe and Asia including French side Limoges and Paderborn Basket in Germany.

He was inducted into Limoges Hall of Fame earlier this year after starring for the team in a two year run where he averaged 18 points and 16 points per the respective seasons.

Mohammed is the younger brother of NBA Champion and former San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder and Chicago Bulls Center Nazr Mohammed.

Alhaji Mohammed participated in SEED Academy: Ghana’s Basketball Camp in Ghana in 2019 as a Coach.
