Ghanaian-Italian international Guard David Cournooh featured for his side Vanoli Cremona in the latest round of Serie A games played this past weekend.
Cremona lost 83-85 to Trento in Week 5 of the 2020-2021 season; the loss is the team’s third in five games and Vanoli ranks 12th in the 16 team competition.
Veteran Guard Cournooh registered nine points, two assists and two rebounds in 39 minutes as the starting Point Guard in the contest.
The 30 year old converted two of four attempts from two point range but missed all three attempts from three point range; he did convert five of six free throws.
His latest production means Cournooh is averaging 11.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in his first season at Vanoli after transferring from Virtus Bologna this offseason.
Cremona plays Pesaro next in the league on Sunday, November 1 with both teams spotting the same record (two wins in five games).
Cournooh played for the Italian National Team in 2006 at the Mediterranean Games in Turkey.
