Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian-British International Player Matthew Bryan-Amaning has left London Lions Basketball Club.
His departure was announced by the club on its official page on Twitter with the veteran Forward’s next move up in the air.
Bryan-Amaning earlier this year signed to play for Egyptian side Zamalek in the first ever edition of the NBA-FIBA Africa backed Basketball Africa League (BAL) due to his Ghanaian background.
The BAL was start date was moved from March to December 5 due to the corona virus pandemic and the expected commencement of the anticipated competition could be the reason for his departure.
The 6 foot 9 inch Forward has represented Great Britain on several occasions after graduating from University of Washington where he played with Orlando Magic Guard Terrence Ross and former Boston Celtics star Isaiah Thomas. He has played in France and Mexico.
London Lions competed in last season’s Basketball Champions League on the European continent with Bryan-Amaning on the roster and the team thanked him for his contribution in a statement.
